At these events, family and friends are welcome to come along and get involved and take part together. Activities are suited to all ages and abilities and we always ensure dignified toileting is available to Changing Places standard. These events are free of charge and MMF sessional staff and volunteers are onsite to aid participation. Event spaces are often limited, and you can book via the events section of our website.

Mae Murray Foundation Family events are inclusive events designed to provide families of individuals with disabilities with a fun, safe, and supportive environment to enjoy together.
These events typically offer a range of activities tailored to people of all abilities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or physical capability, can participate and have a good time.
The aim is to create lasting memories while fostering community connection and promoting the inclusion of disabled people, who are often left out in social events.
We host a vast range of family events – where the whole family and friends are welcome to come along and get involved. Activities are suited to all ages and abilities Events are announced via our Newsletter and are subject to limited space. Pre-booking is essential.
In the past, we have enjoyed sledging with the Belfast Giants, visited one of our Inclusive Beaches, explored W5 and the Planetarium, and collaborated with local councils to organise a fun-filled day featuring animals, music, drama, craft and much more. We are passionate about creating enjoyable inclusive family days and are always eager to hear new ideas.
We recognise that cost can be a barrier for our members so our events are free!
Yes! We would love for them to come, please make sure you select a ticket for every member of the family/friend who is attending.
Yes – this is a family event. Our staff are there for support but not to provide supervision.
No, MMF is for all abilities participating together. There is no diagnosis required.
We try to create events all over Northern Ireland. Members across Northern Ireland are welcome to travel to any of the venues we are hosting. If you have an idea for a family fun day please get in touch.

We have an incredible staff and volunteer team who are experienced and have received training to ensure that we provide the best care possible to our members. If you have an unmet need or need additional support for your family to enjoy the activity please get in touch with us in advance!
We will send out a reminder email before the event with all the information you need to know.
We always ensure accessible parking however we cannot reserve these. We usually have a drop-off area, where you can drop off and then go and park.
