We are a lived experience led organisation. This means we believe that members, who are often excluded from taking part, understand the barriers to participation and are best placed to find solutions. You can share your lived experience with us in a number of ways.
Our Youth Panel is for young people of all-abilities, aged 14-25 who have an interest in leadership and creating change for their peers and future generations. The Youth Panel get involved in designing projects and activities for fellow members, as well as using their voice to drive change in the local community.

The Advisory Committee provides knowledge and first-hand experience on the full range of need of our membership, to further progress the development of co-produced solutions to barriers across everyday environments. Do you share the vision of the Mae Murray Foundation? Could you offer a little time to help further our aims? If you have experienced social isolation or exclusion, we are keen to hear from individuals, like you, who can offer us the benefit of their ‘lived’ experience, and help us progress change in the community.

Are you experiencing barriers or challenges that are preventing you from taking part within your community? We may be able to signpost you to other organisations who may be able to help. Although we cannot solve every issue that our members face, we sit on various boards and advisory panels and can give voice to your concerns.
